Teens with Cancer-Online Support Groups
www.grouploop.org
Group Loop is an innovative online resource for teens with cancer and
their parents – away from the daily pressures of
classes, after school activities, family and work responsibilities, let alone
treatment schedules – to “connect” with other
teens and forge friendships while battling unwanted aloneness, loss of
control and loss of hope associated with the
disease.
Group Loop includes online support groups, chat rooms, educational
resources and more. Visit
www.grouploop.org for additional information.
The Columbus Blue Jackets supports The
Wellness Community with a grant to inform and
educate young people with cancer, their families
and their medical teams about GroupLoop, the
organization's online support group for teenagers
with cancer.
