About Our New Executive Director Bev Soult
Message from Susan: We are excited and pleased to welcome Bev Soult
as our new Executive Director. Bev’s impressive background of community
and non-profit leadership includes serving as Executive Director of First
Night Columbus, and as a consultant for a variety of projects, such as;  a
national youth health and fitness initiative, a community-wide walking
program in central Ohio,  and numerous leadership roles in the non-profit
community. She has been honored for her efforts with recognition in the
2008 directory of Who’s Who, and named Northwest Woman of the Year.
Among her awards, she was given the Junior League of Columbus
Community Service Award and State of Ohio Volunteer Service Award.

Bev pledges to meet the needs of those we serve with the best possible
programs and support. She feels that a focus on community outreach, an
expansion of programs and the cultivation of strong bonds with the health
care community will be key components of success.

“I am thrilled to have the opportunity to be a part of such an extraordinary
organization that offers cancer support, education and hope so no one
faces cancer alone,” she says. “I am inspired by the staff, participants and
board members’ commitment and passion. This is a very exciting time for
us. I truly feel there is no limit to the positive impact we can make for those
with cancer and their caregivers, loved ones and friends, given this caring
community.”

Elaine Manley, Program Director
We are so happy to have Bev Soult as our new Executive Director. She is
just what we need, and lots of fun too! We continue to grow, thanks to  all
of you who are spreading the word. We all feel lucky to work here, in such
a supportive atmosphere. I am especially grateful to see the love and
generosity of spirit that exists among participants. It inspires us all and
creates such a healing place where all can benefit. One participant said,
“This is the only place where I can be myself and feel normal.” This is truly
a “community” atmosphere and we invite you to join us.
