Mindfulness Meditation Group The practices of mindfulness and meditation have been shown to have many health benefits. Mark your calendar to join our group to experience/learn simple practices that reduce stress and promote a sense of well-being. Prior meditation experience is not required. Upcoming Events and Programs March 8th, 5:00 - 7:00 pm Look Good, Feel Better Offered 2nd Mondays, every other month This program helps women with cancer improve their self-image by providing hands-on beauty techniques to combat the physical side effects of chemotherapy and radiation. Sponsored by the American Cancer Society, the Cosmetic, Toiletry and Fragrance Association and the National Cosmetology Association, in partnership with The Wellness Community. Participants may bring one female guest to assist them; registration is limited to 24 women (12 participant/friend pairings).
To register, contact the American Cancer Society at 1-888-227-6446 and press 0. A makeup kit valued at over $300 will be given to each participant (limit one kit per person).

March 18th, 6:00pm - 8:00pm Pack with Pizzazz! Learn how to prepare wholesome, satisfying lunches you can pack and take with you to lunch, on roadtrips, or to our own Brown Bag Book Club!
April 15th, 6:00pm - 8:00pm Meatless Magic Create vegetarian meals that are nutritionally dense and full of flavor.

Thursday, March 11th, 12:00pm - 2:00pm Dr. Emoto's Water Crystals, presented by Certified Instructor Cindy Payne. Learn about Dr. Emoto's findings that human vibrational energy, thoughts, words, and music affect the molecular structure of water and join us to take a deeper look at ourselves through water's mirror. Cindy will use her study of Dr. Emoto to help us "clean up" our inner thoughts in order to see ourselves more clearly.
Thursday, April 8th, 12:00pm - 2:00pm Shamanic Journey, presented by Certified Instructor Linda Desper. Come with an open minde to discover the infinite possibilities of healing through the magic of imagination. According to Michael Harner, a "shaman" is someone who makes journeys to non-ordinary reality in an altered state of consciousness. We'll provide a safe environment for you to journey within, assisted by native drumming.

Grief and Loss Wellness Support Group at TWC
Tuesdays, March 2nd - April 6th, 6:30pm - 8:30pm
This soothing, comforting group provides a safe environment for connecting to others who are dealing with the loss of a loved one. Share stories, express feelings, receive support and learn the many different aspects of grief, awhile working through the healing process A brief "Welcome to Wellness" interview is required before joining the group.
