FACING CANCER together
FREE cancer support, education and hope
Our services are free of charge, but to those affected by
cancer, they are priceless. Please consider a donation.

OUR MISSION

We are dedicated to helping those affected by cancer enhance their health
and well-being through participation in professional programs of emotional
support, education, and hope.

Our programs and services are always free of charge, to ensure that we do
not increase the financial burden of those already coping with life-threatening
issues.  We serve all cancer patients - any diagnosis, any stage - and their
families and caregivers.  Our comfortable setting helps people find a sense
of community among others with whom they can share, learn and improve
their quality of life.

The Wellness Community and the Lance Armstrong Foundation.  This series
is being offered as a collaboration between The Wellness Community and
Mount Carmel Survivorship Services.
Breakaway from Cancer is a complementary component to the
Amgen Tour of California to raise awareness and funds to support
valuable services and programs, provided to people living with
cancer.  The initiative supports The Wellness Community, the
National Coalition for Cancer Survivorship, the Patient Advocate
Foundation, and Prevent Cancer Foundation.
